This time four years ago...in 2014, the boom of a mobile crane working on Blenheim's multimillion-dollar ASB Theatre crashed to the ground startling workers and passers-by.
Two more cranes were required to remove the boom from the site.
The Hitachi crane did not have a load when it fell. It had been moving to pick up a load when the boom broke.
The story was reported by Anna Williams.
