Community College North Canterbury opens doors to possibly its youngest group of learners
The college recently hosted a group from the local Little Peppertree Preschool Rangiora. Hospitality students prepared morning tea for the preschoolers, then the youngsters enjoyed an equine experience. The preschoolers got hands-on with the college horses and had pony rides. Little Pepper Tree's visit was to learn about living things and the environment and make connections with the community.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
