Have you been into Christchurch city since the earthquakes? Our discussion about busses a couple of weeks ago prompted an interesting email from someone who revealed she hasn't been into the CBD since the earthquakes. I don't think she's alone, but I'd be interested to know how many people are in the same boat. Have you stayed away from the central city, either deliberately or because the transport isn't there? Why? Do you know someone who has chosen or hasn't been able to visit? Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
