Ashley Church Carol Service Working Bee
In preparation for the Ashley Community Church Christmas Eve Carol Service there will be a working bee at the church from 9 am - 12 noon on Saturday 16 December at 39 Canterbury St, Ashley. We will be tidying the grounds and cleaning inside the church. Morning tea will be provided too. Later in the week we will be decorating the Christmas tree so get in touch if you would like to help - children especially welcome. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
