Takutai Kāpiti Coastal Advisory Panel - Waikanae and Paraparaumu workshop
Paraparaumu and Waikanae – the next Takutai Kāpiti Coastal Advisory Panel community workshop is this Saturday, 6 May and this time the focus is on you! They want to hear what matters most to you about the Waikanae and Paraparaumu coastlines and your views on adapting to the impacts of sea-level rise.
? 10.30am–12.30pm Saturday 6 May 2023
? Otaihanga Boating Club, 19 Makora Road, Otaihanga
We've asked the panel to represent your views, so it’s important we hear from you on:
? What you value most about living here.
? How important the coastline is to you and why.
? How concerned are you about coastal hazards like erosion and flooding and why?
? What do you want protected on our coast and how could it be done?
Join us on May 6 or have your say online at haveyoursay.kapiticoast.govt.nz...
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
