Tracy Harker from Upper Hutt Women's Centre Inc

The Upper Hutt Women's Centre classes are beginning for term 2 next week. Our class sizes are small and we have some wonderful facilitators who will make you feel welcome. They are focused on health, well being, education and enjoyment and are affordable for all. If you would like to learn something new or even just connect with others we would love you to come along. This term we are running bellydancing, singing, life redesign, line dancing, macrame, mindful yoga (including a chair based session), oil painting, sewing, sign language and total barre classes. For further information on the days and costs of our classes you can click on the registration form below or refer to our website or refer to our website uhwc.co.nz...

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
