Identify edible mushroom ? 😊

John from Wainuiomata

Good day to you. Today i picked some wild mushrooms ? near the Wainui river about 1km below the dam on the mown grass between the trees and the side of the road. I have looked on the net for as much information as possible as to determine if they are edible or poisonous. I think they are edible but am not entirely sure. I wont eat them until i am 100 % sure. Can any one help me identify them. I live in Wainui. Mushrooms are high in B vitamins and selenium. I am very interested in eating wild foods as these are even higher in nutrients than organicly grown vegetables. Which i also have a large 100% organic vegetable garden growing many yummy vegetables. Thankyou for any help. Take care and look after each other and our beautiful community 😊

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
