Hey Hutt folk, the Hutt Valley Sports Awards were held last week with Pulse and Silver Ferns defender Karin Burger taking the top award.
Here is the list of winners.
Sportswoman of the Year and Supreme winner, Karin Burger.
Sportsman of the Year, Ben Waine (football).
Team of the Year, Ulalei (netball).
Coach of the Year, Hilton Parker (speedway).
Administrator of the Year, Ana So'otaga (netball).
Young Sportswoman of the Year, Chelsey Edwards (swimming).
Young Volunteer of the Year, Lace Tangianau (softball).
Disabled athlete, Nathan Wilkinson (bowls, netball).
Official of the Year, Gareth Fowler (netball).
Sports Legend, Ewen Chatfield (cricket).
Exceptional service to sport, Jo Paroa (netball).

Ryman awarded for top customer satisfaction

Ryman Healthcare has won the Canstar Blue 2024 award for Most Satisfied Customers in Retirement Villages in what is a first for the company. 

The award recognises retirement living communities with the highest customer satisfaction. Ryman topped the rankings, achieving a perfect five-star rating across all categories: Overall Satisfaction, Accommodation, Atmosphere, Facilities, Location, and Value for Money.
