Family in need
Hello all,
I have very close friends who have been displaced due to the landslip in Stokes Valley. They are very kind and are the first in line to help anyone in need. I now reach out as they are now in need. They are looking for a 3 bedroom house that allows 2 elderly cats (17 years old) as it seems they may be out of home for approx 3-6 months minimum until EQC, Council, Insurance company come to an agreement on next steps. They are not allowed to enter their house as it has a temporary red sticker placed on it. If anyone can help please reach out. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
