Upper Hutt murder might be drug-related
The rumour is that the Upper Hutt woman who was murdered in her home several days ago when confronted by four people, was drug-related.
Whether drugs was the issue or not, this woman should not have been killed by these people and I hope justice will come to the perpetrators - though real justice is seldom if ever, meted out in NZ.
Of course the police know a whole lot more than they are letting on and I believe they will make arrests soon.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
