More safety improvements planned for SH 58

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

Regular users of SH 58 between Hutt Valley and Porirua can expect to see some major changes over the next three months.
From Sunday January 10, the current safety improvement work site will be extended. The site is being extended to Judgeford and will include the closure of the eastbound passing lane near the Moonshine Road intersection.
At times overnight there may be two separate STOP/GO sites within the worksite on Sunday. During these periods, there may be delays of up to 10 minutes. The new set up is expected to be in place for three months.
