Corgis will compete for a trophy and large bags of yummy premiun dog food at the 4th annual Black Hawk Corgi Races on Saturday December 10.
The fun event which is likely to feature three heats and a final, will be held at the Belmont Domain in Lower Hutt.
The Corgis will race over a 60 metre grassed "track".
The Palmerston North Greyhound Club has donated racing vests which will assist the judges.
Entry is free and open to pure bred Pembroke and Cardigan Corgis from anywhere.
Spectators are very welcome.
Racing starts at 2pm.
