Oscars 2022: Dune, Dune, Dune, Dune, Dune, Dune, The Power Of The Dog.
The Power Of The Dog with its strong NZ connection received 12 nominations but only finally got through on the night with best director for our celebrated Dame Jane Campion. One of the few major awards the movie Dune did not grab.
Campion gave a very good and thankfully mostly non-American type award speech. And her start with "Kia Ora, Aotearoa" was warming but why on earth did she mention Australia alongside NZ ?
A very good Oscars awards ceremony though Will Smith (a fav actor for me) was quite over the top. What was he on?

Tried to pass to Police Station but they are closed so attempting to reach someone on here just in case we get lucky!
