Watch out for garden thieves

Terri from Birchville

Hi Birchville neighbours. Keep vigilant for silent lowlife creeping into your gardens and stripping your trees of fruit. My friend had ALL her apples and crabapples taken - even the windfalls on the ground. Nothing left except one little crabapple on the road outside. Who is making jellies and preserves? Buy or grow your own. This fruit was needed by the owner who spent all year waiting for it. She is devastated and feels unsafe in her home now. It is not just about the money.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.

Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
