Poll: Would you consider being a police officer in your hometown?

Libby Totton Reporter from South Waikato News

Anton Milnes knows working as a police officer he can be just a small part of someone’s really bad day.

However, he’s hoping to be more than that, especially in his home town of Tokoroa.

Milnes grew up with police officers as his mentors - he even trained at Tokoroa police station gym with his junior rugby team.

Would you consider being a police officer in your hometown? (Please add NFP if you don't want your comments used in print.)

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
