Police seeking information on local dairy robbery
Police are seeking information on two armed men who robbed a dairy in Tokoroa. The men entered the Kelso St Dairy around 7.45pm on 11th August demanding money while armed with a knife and a stick.
Both men (pictured) wore dark clothes, though one also wore a white mask. Their attempt to rob the dairy was unsuccessful and they left empty handed.
Detective Sergeant Mihi Owen said police are appealing for help from the public in identifying those responsible.
Anybody with information that can assist the investigation is urged to contact Tokoroa Police on 07-885 0100 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
