Simon Tyre has completed in Kerikeri what he couldn't do in Auckland thanks to its traffic: He has run a half marathon in full firefighting kit and breathing apparatus in under 3 hours 30 minutes to claim a Guinness World record! He completed the feat at the Kerikeri Half Marathon on Saturday, raising more than $14,000 for KidsCan in the process. What do you think of his efforts?
