Avocado Honesty Boxes ๐Ÿฅ‘

Dee from Havelock North

I am posting on behalf of my daughter, Jessica:

We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our honesty boxes at various spots around Havelock North, over the past 5 years. Your honesty and continued custom have been heart-warming and have allowed us to offer avos in this traditional Kiwiana fashion for so long.
We are branching out in new directions in offering Kiwi avos to Kiwis and have set up a fb page, 'Avoya', for ordering boxes to be delivered to your door!! โ€˜Likeโ€™ us here for regular price updates and order info ~ www.facebook.com...
We have also set up a group, for order-sharing with other nearby avo lovers. Join us here ~ m.facebook.com...
(The Village Cobbler will continue to offer our $5 bags ~ and if you, or someone else you know, have a shop front in Havelock and might like to do the same, in exchange for avos, please contact us 0211883204 ๐Ÿ˜Š)
Thank you!
Jess & Nathyn

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldnโ€™t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

Mitre 10 Park Hawke's Bay survey

Communications from Hastings District Council

A short Mitre 10 Park Hawke's Bay survey is open for people who donโ€™t currently use the park. Your input, added to info from park users, will help shape a new master plan being prepared by the sports park management team that will (amongst other things) make the park more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all. Let them know what you think!
Topics include:
๐Ÿ€ Awareness: Are you aware of the activities offered?
๐Ÿ‰ Perception: Do you feel the park is for everyone?
๐Ÿ Access: Are there barriers keeping you from visiting?
๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Survey closes 5pm, Sunday 1 December, 2024.

Take a few minutes to share your thoughts here:

Hastings District Council is proud to support the development of a Mitre 10 Park master plan.
