Brilliant Tuesday mornings for stroke survivors and anyone with a disability or alone

Elly from Welcome Bay

On Tuesday mornings from 9.30 am until midday, there is a gathering at the Senior Citizens Hall in Greerton. My Husband Mike, has been going there for the past 5.5 years and he loves it! A lovely morning tea is served and bingo, quizzes and general conversation is part of this. It also enables caregivers to have their loved ones or people in their care, to have a few hours off knowing that their people are being so well looked after. At Christmas there is a lovely Xmas Lunch at a restaurant. All costs for this are covered by the small weekly fee paid to cover cost of hall, morning tea etc and it really is cheap! We arrive at 10 am so no need for a very early start. For further information contact Roger on 5782797 or myself on 5441578.

Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
