School Hopper Proposed Changes
The BOPRC have proposed some significant changes to the School Hopper service. These changes will have a very significant impact on the journeys the students from Welcome Bay, and all students who travel by School Hopper to Tauranga Intermediate school and Tauranga Boys' and Girls' Colleges, will be taking from 1 July next year.
The attached links include the blue print for the proposed changes to the bus services and a petition asking BOPRC to revise the changes to the School Hopper services.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
