Omokoroa Sports & Recreation Society - seeking a new Treasurer
The Omokoroa Sports & Recreation Society is a volunteer organisation managing the Sports Pavilion on behalf of many of our community groups. Our long-serving treasurer has just resigned, so there’s now an opportunity for a trustworthy community-minded person to join our friendly team.
As treasurer, you will oversee the financial affairs of the Society, and ensure they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice. If you’d like to use your financial management skills to make a difference in our community, please contact the Society’s chairman, Peter Presland at peter.presland@fmg.co.nz .

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
