Te Papa peninsula well placed to support growth
The Te Papa peninsula, from the city centre through to Greerton, is well placed to support the growth of our city. It already has existing infrastructure, a range of services and activities, significant employment hubs and schools, and a mix of housing. That’s why we’re starting in the Te Papa peninsula to enable more people to live in this area, with more compact forms of housing, community spaces, retail and other businesses. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
