Hi, All, the House of Science Tauranga was establish in 2013 to raise scientific literacy in the Western Bay of Plenty. HoS works with 59 schools, reaching over 2000 children a week, delivering science resource to school the schools are able to teach great science lessons. We also work with Local Social services to reach children who may not have access to great science lessons so every child learns what fun science can be. We could use your help with a few things, firstly we have found ourselves in need of a vacuum cleaner, If you have one you no longer need, that works well and you would like to donate it to us we would really appreciate it. Also if anyone has a laminator they no longer use we would love that too.
Also, we are looking for volunteers, Drivers are needed to deliver our resource kits to schools on a Monday and pick them up on a Friday.
we are also in need of people to help n reception and admin. you could help us in any way please contact me at 07 5710711 or email me at pam.bassett@houseofscience.nz
Thank you Pam
