Communications from Western Bay of Plenty District Council

Kia ora neighbours,

Exciting news! A total of 58 people have put their pōtae (hat) in the ring to represent the Western Bay. Check out who has put their names forward below.

What now? A couple things.

We'll be hosting Candidate Debates where candidates will go toe-to-toe on the hard-hitting topics. You can check the line-up out on our website.

Key dates:

?Enrolled voters in the Western Bay can expect to receive their voting packs in the post from Friday, 16 September.

?Voting will close at midday Saturday, 8 October with preliminary results expected to be announced early afternoon.

?Official results will be available by 14-19 October.

Well done to everyone who put themselves out there and embarking on the first steps of becoming a changemaker for your community!
