You’ve given us some great ideas for the future use of the Tauranga Racecourse Reserve in Greerton, including enhanced connections to Kopurererua Valley for walkers and cyclists. We now have seven draft options for you to look at.

Please drop-in to one of our community days where we will share the draft options with you, listen to your feedback and answer your questions.

- Friday 18 February, 11.30am-2.30pm, Greerton Community Hall, 1263 Cameron Road
- Friday 18 February, 4pm-7pm, Tauranga Racecourse, Sir Tristram Lounge (Ground Floor), 1383 Cameron Road
- Saturday 19 February, 12 noon-3pm, Greerton Community Hall

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
