I live near the retirement village and they have been building over the past few months. Although this has meant more traffic and noise, personally for me it hasnt been a problem. However the manager turned up at my door today and blew my mind. Not only did they give me a gift of appreciation for putting up with this (like I said, no problem) but rather than a token gift, they actually gave me a huge gift basket with all sorts of goodies. Totally blew me away that a company not only wanted to say thank you but went above and beyond. I would expect that if this is how the people within the village are treated then they must all be pretty happy about their living enviroment. So this is my shout out to you, thank you, you truly made my day :)
