Note theat when labour took office a litre cost 1.73 and now it is 1.99. Soon another 12 cents goes on here and in auckland 23cents. If you rent a house in Tauranga area your rent is going to sky rocket as the council is increasing rates by 40%plus gst and the government has increased all insurance levies for fire and earth quake. By my calculations a 500.00 a week rent will be 554.00 a week and this has happened in four months since labour took office and watch this space as there is more to come. The rich are going to continue to get rich and we are all paying for it.

Hi all,

We are a small group dedicated to improving the water quality in the Rangataua Harbour primarily by fencing and planting the margins of the Waitao Stream in native plants. We meet on a fortnightly basis to plant or prepare plants for planting (collecting seeds, potting up etc.) Anyone interested in helping out is always welcome.

Our next planting is on Sunday 22nd April @ 498 Waitao Road between 10am - 12pm (with a cup of tea and light snacks to follow). All you need is a spade (if you like digging holes) or gloves if you would prefer to plant :) Some good shoes or boots are also recommended.

This is a great opportunity to come along and meet some of your neighbours (especially if you live in the Welcome Bay area) and also to do your bit for future proofing our environment.

Anyone interested in finding out more can give me a call on 0212317082 or email waitaolandcare@gmail.com or send me a message through Neighbourly.

Thanks,
Matt

We can also pay for you to attend a coaching course. We have an experienced coach of another G12 team who is able to help you out too.
