Geocaching
Get the whole family involved in the outdoors.
There are more than 3 million geocache players in the world. Peter will introduce members to his hobby and explain how it works, where it has taken him and why he keeps going back for more. He’ll give an outline of what geocaching is all about and explain why it’s popular with young and old alike.
There are currently over 3.4 million hidden caches for players to find. 2022 was the biggest year on record, with a massive 83,720,498 find logs posted throughout the year.
Members can find out about this fascinating hobby that only needs a smartphone to get you going and is something you can enjoy with the grandkids (or on your own!) while enjoying nature and discovering new places right on your doorstep.
