Lets tell the Council....
I drove up the Minden today to take some pics, first time in a while. Stopped at the layby past the lookout. That's obviously a popular spot if the amount of rubbish that was there was a indication of that. I spent an hour picking it up, but I wonder how long it'll be before there's more. I have contacted the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and suggested that they put a rubbish bin up there (they are emptying the one at the lookout so it wouldn't be a stretch to empty one there as well). If other people agree there should be a bin there, please contact them as well. The more people talk about it, the more likely it'll happen 🙂

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
