Not long to go to biggest book sale...
Just two weeks now until our huge Rotary book sale will be held in the Seeka Coolstore, Harvard Way, Mt Maunganui, starting Friday March 3rd 12pm to 6.30pm, March 4th and 5th from 9am to 4.30. Since we could not have a sale last year, we have more books than ever! Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
