Go to www.tauranga.govt.nz... now to have your say. If it’s adopted we would see a decline over time of the number of venues (including TAB venues) and pokie machines in Tauranga. This would however slowly affect the availability of funding for the racing industry, sports and community organisations, and clubs. Help Council make their decision – make your submission by 5pm on Friday. Thanks!

Midwives would give notice from Wednesday of two-hour work stoppages every day on every shift over a two-week period, starting Thursday, November 22.
So what are your thoughts on the strike? Do you think our midwives should be paid more? How will you be affected by the strike action? Let us know your thoughts in the replies below!
