The Lakes: 21 families not allowed back into their homes!
I woke up thinking about these families and wondered if there is anything I (we) as a wider community can do to help these people. It may be small things and I have contacted both the council and BOP Times to see if there is a contact person for this group. The reporter from the times thought this make a good story and it would help get this message out to everyone. The reporter is going to contact someone from this group and see if they are ok with this first. I read that one person is paying $1000 per week for their two dogs, maybe there is someone out in the community that can house these dogs until their owner has a new home to go to? There may be other things that we can assist with, keep you updated.
