New health coaching business in Taupo
Good morning neighbours.
I am putting my word out to the neighbourhood to offer my services as a health&nutrition coach (still in training).
My coaching business is called Mindful Nourished Roots and I support professional women and mums to find and create time and balance in their lives to put themselves first, re-connect with their true selves and their roots again and satisfy their desire and pursuit for self-care without feeling guilty for it.
I help women to accept who they are, exploring their values, wants, needs and strengths and living a life according to these. On this journey, they will become aware and recognize of how their mind and body functions, understand their language, natural cues and signals so they know what their body and mind need in any given moment to give them optimal health and well-being.
What clients could get and can then incorporate into their lives:
- practice and live with more self-care (be kind to yourself and not just to others)
- get to know yourself again and accept yourself the way you are
- live a purposeful life aligned with your values, needs and wants
- be your best and content self
- understand and practice a mind-body approach to healthy eating and living
- be able to set boundaries
- be able to say NO with no guilt
- fuel and nourish yourself according to your true self
I am offering fee-free sessions to anyone who is interested and would like to make a change in their lives. I can do face-to-face sessions or sessions via Skype or Zoom if preferred. Please be aware that I am still not fully qualified and in training, so practice and learnings will be for both the coach's and the client's side :)
To contact me to book a session or to get more information please email me on mindfulnourishedroots@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we're having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
