Exhibition coming to Taupo Museum: Suzhou - Faith and Life 618AD to 1279AD
As we celebrate the Taupo District's 10th anniversary with our sister city Suzhou, China, Taupō Museum is privileged to host Suzhou – Faith and Life 618AD to 1279AD, a world-class exhibition starting on August 31.
Featuring treasures from the Tang and Song Dynasties, including priceless Buddhist and Taoist artefacts, this is the exhibition’s first visit to New Zealand, and the first of its kind in the Taupo District.
We can’t wait to see it!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
