Hands Up To Help - Qualified Electrician Required
Lake Taupo Hospice is looking for a qualified electrician who has a space in their schedule to do an urgent job for a patient. The earliest they can get an electrician is 6 weeks away and they need a standard light fitting in their bathroom changed to a heat lamp. Heat lamp has already been purchased - we'd just prefer it if they didn't have to wait 6 weeks to be warm!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
