There’s a lot to know about what’s happening in the Taupō District over the 2021/22 festive season!

Please be aware all our customer service centres will close at the earlier time of 3pm on Christmas Eve. Our Taupō and Turangi Customer Service and i-SITE Visitor Information Centres will be open every day over the holiday period, except for Christmas Day. In Mangakino our customer service centre will be closed from Christmas Day until Tuesday 4 January.

Normal opening hours at all centres will resume from Wednesday 5 January. If you need to contact us at any time, you can call 0800 ASK TDC (0800 275 832).

For more useful information about things like rubbish collections and opening hours at council facilities and venues, please follow the link below.
