Artworks bring paradise to Taupo Museum
Five artists will showcase work celebrating connections and the natural beauty of the world around us at a new Taupo Museum exhibition.
The exhibition, Playing in Paradise, has been coordinated by artist Jane Penton. She said the two and three-dimensional works had been created using fabric, fibre and found objects. Along with five collaborators, she has created hand-made pieces including sculpture, collage and even a DVD.
Ms Penton said there was also a storytelling element to the exhibition, which came through the choice of materials used and personal significance to the artists using them.
