Nurses vote to strike this Thursday

Hi Waikato,

What do you think about your nurses rejecting the latest pay offer from District Health Boards? It's now been confirmed that 24 hours of strike action will begin at 7am Thursday.

A "majority" of the New Zealand Nurses' Organisation's (NZNO) more-than-30,000 members have chosen to take industrial action - a move described as "unprecedented".

What do you think about Thursday's strike? Were you surprised they rejected the last offer? Or do you think they deserve more? Let us know in the replies!
