Hi, everyone. I am making my Internet radio station (RBR) available for public community announcements and notices during the COVID-19 lockdown from Thursday 26th March. All Public notices will be aired between 9am-1pm daily (Mon-Fri). Please send anything you would like to be announced to studio@rbr.rocks and I will add it to the list of announcements (first come first served basis). If a notice or announcement is urgent please mark it so and specify when you want it announced. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
