Paying it forward
Lesieli and Tāne embody the power of paying it forward through the Graeme Dingle Foundation.
Lesieli, ex Kiwi Can student, is now a Kiwi Can Leader teaching life skills such as respect and resilience to tamariki. Tāne, an ex Career Navigator student, returned to the Foundation as a Kiwi Can Leader, driven by his desire to make a positive impact. Their experiences have ignited a passion to empower the next generation of young people and give back to the Foundation.

Volunteer required - Meals on Wheels drivers required
Want to make a difference in Blenheim. New Zealand Red Cross urgently needs volunteers to help deliver Meals on Wheels, and would love to have your help!
The Meals on Wheels service delivers nutritious meals to people living at home who aren’t able to cook for themselves because of health problems, disability or age. It's more than just delivering food – it paves the way for friendship and companionship for people who are often isolated and vulnerable. [Red Cross volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels in 33 locations across Aotearoa New Zealand]. The role involves picking up meals from a set location and then delivering it to people at lunchtime and having a brief chat at the door. If you’re friendly and caring, have a driver’s license and your own vehicle, and can give at least two hours of your time to do a weekday delivery each month, this volunteer role is for you!
