The Meals on Wheels service delivers nutritious meals to people living at home who aren’t able to cook for themselves because of health problems, disability or age. It's more than just delivering food – it paves the way for friendship and companionship for people who are often isolated and vulnerable. The role involves picking up meals from a set location and then delivering it to people at lunchtime and having a brief chat at the door.
