Cracking down on dangerous dogs
The government is proposing stricter rules on owning dangerous dog breeds.
This will always be an emotive subject - with varying point of views - depending on what camp you stand in.
Do you agree we need owners taking better responsibility over their animals? and if so what do you think would be the best and most sensible way to prevent attacks on people, stock and other animals, poultry and wildlife?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
