What is the best platform to advertise on? Should I even advertise?

Jason from Jason Fox - Stuff

EVERY BUSINESS needs to advertise to maintain and grow their client base as their will always be attrition - it's just a case of where will your advertising dollar work for you the best...

In my experience....

Community newspaper/Radio: perfect for the sleeping customer, readers tend to be parents and 50+
Social Media: ideal for Native advertising - building trust with informative and interesting posts
Online: a heaving beast that is still evolving, using safe and premium environments is a must. Branding and performance campaigns depending on the objectives, can track

Some important questions for any business:
Q1: Who is my target market
Q2: Where do they look
Q3: What is my budget
q4: What is a successful campaign (sales, clicks, website traffic, awareness etc)

The best practice is to view advertising & marketing as an investment and treat it as such - repetition = reputation!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
