BEES-WAX CHRISTMAS CANDLES TO BUY OR MAKE YOUR OWN
My 8 year old son has got his Christmas moulds, and is restarting his business "Kids Candle-Making" that he started February before lock-down. These are made from NZ beeswax, and have extra long wicks so they can hung on a Christmas tree. We have a few in his road-side honesty stall outside 217 Foxton-Shannon Road, or we will take pre-orders with 20% off. We can deliver to Levin, and probably Palmerston North before Christmas. The moulded candles are $3-5 before the 20% off, and the small coloured tapers are $2.
I am running Candle-Making classes if you want to make your own Christmas candles. Classes starting at $14 to make three candles (a moulded candle, a coloured dip candle and an ice candle). Private/group session to make what you want with a cost of $100 per kg of wax, ($20 minimum). I also plan to do drop-in sessions for kids just to make the dip candles ($2 to add colour to a taper candle, and $7 to make a large candle from scratch.)
