puppies
Hi neighbors, my BC bitch had a cesarean and only one out of 7 puppies survived. He is doing very well, thankfully. But I am a bit worried about her. She has too much milk and might develop mastitis.. The vet said I should definitively check her for signs regularly. I asked him and he confirmed that I should give this a try: is there someone out there who has young puppies (~ 2 week old) that you are hand feeding since mum can't? Would you like to give this a try and let my girl have one or two pups, for feeding and also for companionship for my little one?! I don't want to keep them, you would have them back, after they are fully weaned. Larger breed better but anything would be fine! And this might or might not work, but my girl has a very strong mother instinct and is only slowly getting over the loss of the other ones. Thanks.
