Labour Party Supporting Putin?

Tony from Tahunanui

I was not taken in by the National Party 1975 election advertisements portraying the Labour Party as Russian sympathising Cossacks but I am reminded of those now that New Zealand, along with China et al, stands almost alone in not exercising sanctions on Putin and his billionaire allies. Jacinda Ardern does ‘talk’ tough opposing the Russian attack on Ukraine but what real life material actions is the Labour Party government taking?

Well, none. Yes, none, see www.stuff.co.nz....

Here in Nelson we even have a Labour MP, Rachel Boyack. What is Rachel saying about this, or given the words without actions of her party, what is she DOING about this?

Doing nothing may well impress Russia and China but do we in Nelson oppose the war in Ukraine or are we, apparently like the Labour Party we voted for, more in favour of it?
