Open from Wednesday, 8th September, 8am

Riverside Milk

We will be open from Wednesday (8th September) 8 am onwards. Once again you will be able to get your milk 24/7.

Please take the following precautions before entering the shed as well as during and after milk vending:

1. Do not enter the milk vending shed if you have any Covid-19 symptoms. Stay at home, contact your GP or Healthline.

2. You now need to wear a mask in the shed because our space is a defined small space.

3. Mandatory record keeping comes into effect from 11:59 pm on 7 September 2021. Therefore you must either scan our QR code or sign into the Covid Tracing sheet (inside).

4. Please thoroughly wash and dry your hands at the outside sink or disinfect your hands with the supplied sanitiser BEFORE you enter the shed.

5. Please only enter the shed one at a time. Physical distancing of 2 meters between yourself and the next customer applies at all times.

6. Overall, please be mindful of how your cleaning and hygiene practices during milk vending may impact on the next few customers.

All support towards keeping everyone safe and sticking to the rules is hugely appreciated by our milk team and we thank you and your family in advance.

Happy Safe Vending Everyone 🙂

Riverside Milk is not proccessed in any form. It is raw milk. The Ministry of Primary Industries advises the following: “Raw milk may contain harmful microorganisms that can cause serious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 ⁰C for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems”.

Poll: Is it rude to talk on the phone on a bus?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.

Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
