Wairau Valley travellers: Roadworks underway until December
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers to allow extra time for their journeys along the Wairau Valley Highway, SH63, in Tasman District, from next week into early December.
Road repairs will be underway from the Korere/Tophouse Rd intersection to St Arnaud village from Monday, 29 October to the first week in December. There will be minor delays with speed restrictions and Stop/Go traffic management in place.
With the start of the summer road construction season, upgrading and strengthening works are being undertaken on three sections of the highway for more comfortable and safe travel.
