Make a Birdfeeder: Creative Craft Workshop for Kids (9 years+)
Wednesday, 5th July, 10am to 11.30am. School Holiday Workshop in Lower Moutere!
Join us for a fun and engaging hands-on workshop where kids can unleash their creativity while giving back to the environment!
In this unique and crafty workshop, Faline will guide and inspire kids to transform old plastic bottles into vibrant bird feeders, attracting local birds and promoting animal conservation.
Bird feeders not only offer an entertaining way to observe birds up close, but they also provide supplemental food sources for our feathered friends in the garden. In this workshop, your kids will create a seed feeder, perfect for attracting common garden birds, resulting in endless hours of birdwatching!
Safety first! We'll be working with sharp knives and scissors, so participants must have basic motor skills.
Bring your own clean and dry plastic bottle, easily sourced from a recycle depot if needed.
Limited to 8 children. $10 per child Sponsorships available (just ask). Bookings essential: www.riverside.org.nz...
This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions or to ask about sponsorship options.
