Waimea Dam
Hi all. I guess that you all have noticed that TDC has already added a special rate on your rates demand to pay for what they have spent so far on the Waimea dam. It is time the ratepayers demanded a halt to this white elephant, which could see the irrigators (who use more than 80% of the water) paying less than 40% of the cost. So if this potential rort of the ratepayers purse is making you angry come along to our protest meeting at 9 am on Thu 9th Aug outside the council chambers in Queen St. Enough is enough !!
